Want to work on the new Cleveland Browns stadium? Pile driver apprentices needed now!

Pile drivers construct driven and drilled pile for support of excavation and all types of foundations, such as the massive foundation that will support the new Cleveland Browns stadium. Welding experience is a plus if interested in applying!


 Pile Drivers maneuver huge construction machinery to drive metal, concrete or wood piling into the earth, during the early stages of construction projects. They apply welding and rigging skills daily. 

Other work pile drivers are capable of includes:  

Marine Construction – Building, repairing and maintaining docks, bridges, wharfs and other marine structures while factoring in currents, tides, waves and wind. 

Commercial Diving – Working in all marine environments as part of UBC Pile Driver teams when underwater work is part of the assignment. 

Renewable Energy – Installing the foundations and support systems for onshore and offshore wind turbines, as well as providing UBC commercial divers to set subsea cables. 

Heavy & Highway – Playing a lead role in the construction of infrastructure, including bridges, highways, tunnels, dams, sewers and water treatment plants.  


Requirements

 Core Application Requirements 

Age: Minimum 18 years old. 

Education: High school diploma or GED. 

Identification: Valid driver’s license or state-issued photo ID. 

Documentation: Birth certificate, social security card, and high school transcripts/GED scores. 

Experience: None required, but welding experience is a plus. 

Substance Abuse Screening: Applicants must pass a drug test. 

Military: Veterans must submit a copy of their DD214. 

** VETERANS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR DIRECT ENTRY AND GIVEN 6 MONTHS CREDIT TOWARDS THEIR APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM!**
