Apprenticeship opportunity: Concrete formwork Carpenter apprentices needed in Lima area!
The Ohio Carpenters are seeking veterans in the Lima area for a large scale, long term project. Phase one is for concrete formwork Carpenters to start in late May/early June.
Concrete Form Builders install the concrete formwork in the early stages of a building or other construction project. The Carpenter erects built-in-place forms or assembles and installs prefabricated forms on construction sites according to blueprint specifications. They use layout tools, such as a robotic total station, to ensure the structure is located properly and then install spreaders, tie rods, anchors, and braces to prepare the forms for concrete to be poured in.
