Since 1889 the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union in Washington have been representing skilled craftworkers in the trowel trades in Western Washington and Alaska. Our members include Bricklayers, Stone and Marble Masons, Tile Setters, Terrazzo Workers, Tile/Terrazzo/Marble Finishers, Pointer/Cleaner/Caulkers and Refractory Workers.

The Western Washington Masonry Trades(WWMT) Apprenticeship Program consists of the following:
- *On-the-job training
- *Hands-on training
- *A minimum of 160 hours per year of classroom and workshop education
- *Basic math instruction
- *Instruction on reading construction documents
- *Education of different masonry materials and related components
BENEFITS:
- *Wages - Apprentices start at $27/hr+ and have a schedule of built in wage increases until you have completed the program and become a journeyperson

- *Pension - From your first hour, your employer will be paying into pension plans that will secure your future.
- *VA Eligibility - Qualifying Veterans may use their GI Bill benefits in coordination with the Western Washington Masonry Trades Apprenticeship Program.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: 18+ years of age, High school graduate or GED equivalent, Physically able to perform the work of the trade and work at high elevations, Social Securtiy card or I-9 documentation, and pass a drug test.
