Conducts a variety of tests and verifications on electro and electromechanical equipment, while providing accuracy, productivity and on-time delivery.Responsibilities:* Performs a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical testing of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and procedures* Reviews shop traveler route card, or schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operation* Perform a variety of test to verify circuitry and to test effectiveness of components in amplifiers and electronic equipment.* Receive parts or units from customers and troubleshoots circuits and components using schematic drawings and prints as a verifying check.* Perform test and diagnostics using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVM, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency counters and other related test equipment* Sets up test equipment and tests per specification* Performs troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the micro component level* Provides detailed written failure description with root cause analysis to production and engineering* Follows written and verbal instructions, adheres to all company guidelines, policies and procedures* Maintains a safe and clean work environment, an acceptable safety record and follows company safety rules* Other responsibilities as assigned* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessaryJob Specifications:Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectationsCertifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related fieldYears of Experience (Required): 1+Skills and Knowledge:* Strong electrical background with understanding of microelectronics.* Strong knowledge in testing, debugging and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies* Good reading and comprehension skills to understand regulations and instructions* Ability to analyze and determine methods and procedures* Good oral and written communication skills and attention to detail* Proficient Microsoft Windows software applicationsIf you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
