Supervisory Program Analyst
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the SPARES AND FLEET LOGISTICS BRANCH (N4L5) of IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
- You will serve as a Deputy Branch Head of the Spares and Fleet Logistics Branch (N4L5) within the Logistics Division (OPNAV N4L).
- You will be responsible for demonstrating leadership and providing oversight in the management and execution of all policies, programs, and assigned tasking as applicable to OPNAV N4L’s missions, functions, and tasks.
- You will oversee the staff and work directly with leadership representing Secretary of War, Secretary of the Navy, Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), other military and government branch equivalents, outside government organizations, and industries.
- You will deliver leadership that is capabilities-focused, competency-based, and aligned and linked to DON goals in support of senior levels of management.
- You will cultivate a working environment that promotes collaboration, professional development of self and the staff, and is diverse, motivated, and not adverse to risk-taking.
- You will directly influence Navy-wide logistics, supply chain management, and readiness, specifically leveraging scarce resources by using best practices to promote efficiency and judiciousness and implementing robust analytical processes.
- You will communicate goals, so a proactive logistics and supply chain operations program flourishes and Navy personnel are trained to enable accomplishment of their jobs safely, professionally, and cost effectively.
- You will be responsible for preparation and delivery of effective presentations on Navy-wide logistics, supply chain management, and readiness issues before audiences of similar and diverse interests.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing and executing budgets at various level utilizing the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES); 2) Preparing and delivering effective presentations on logistics, supply chain management and Navy readiness issues; 3) Directing the development of reports, briefs, papers, and other products in support of senior level decision makers; 4) Assessing and improving processes and systems using qualitative and/or quantitative resources; 5) Setting administrative direction concerning project priorities and objectives.
