Millwrights Local 1163 Upstate New York
The Apprenticeship is a program that involves classroom training in conjunction with on the job training. Millwrights 1163 offers a 4-year program, where the student attends classes at the training center for a minimum of 4 weeks at each level. While not in school, the apprentice has the opportunity to learn on the job, with a reduced salary of the journeyman rate, with the opportunity to receive periodic increases upon completion of each requirements.
Millwrights Local 1163 Training Center is located in Liverpool NY. Our full time Millwright Instructor conducts Apprentice Training and Journeyman upgrade classes, on a weekly basis. A UBC Millwright receives training in many fields. Some of these classes include:
GE Gas Turbine 16 Hour Health and Safety Vibration Analysis MSDS-Hazcom Machinery Alignment Confined Space Rigging & Signaling Fall Protection Scaffolding First Aid/CPR Welding Aerial Lift
