Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will support our heavy civil and industrial construction projects by safely and efficiently operating a variety of heavy machinery. Our work spans highways, bridges, mining, rail, utilities, and large-scale earthwork—requiring skilled operators capable of performing in diverse site conditions.


  •   Operate heavy
    equipment such as dozers, excavators, scrapers, loaders, and motor graders
    to excavate, move, and grade materials.
     
  • Perform routine
    maintenance, monitor gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure proper
    equipment operation.
     
  • Maintain safe
    operation practices, exercise good judgment, and follow all safety
    policies to protect yourself and others on the jobsite.
     
  • Execute tasks
    efficiently under varying conditions including night work, adverse
    weather, and emergency situations.
     
  • Load, move, and
    place materials using various equipment types.
     
  • Follow on-site
    management instructions and complete necessary job-related paperwork.
     
  • Maintain clean
    equipment cab and work area.
      

Requirements

  •   Experience
    preferred in heavy equipment operations.
     
  • Ability to read
    and follow verbal and written instructions.
     
  • Must pass a
    pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
     
  • Ability to work
    extended hours, nights, weekends, and in extreme weather conditions.
     
  • Physical
    ability to climb equipment using three points of contact, walk uneven
    terrain, and sit for long periods in conditions involving vibration or
    jarring.
     
  • Valid driver’s
    license required.
     
  • Commitment to
