Drywall Finisher (Taper) Apprenticeship

Once the drywall has been securely installed, Tapers fill the joints between panels with a joint compound. The process for finishing drywall has evolved over many decades and is an overlapping process in which each step or application has an effect on the next step.

A drywall finisher might work in the commercial or residential industry for a subcontractor or a general construction company to create perfect
and flawless walls on every construction site. A drywall finisher seals joints between plasterboard and other wallboards to prepare wall
surfaces for painting or papering.
