The Florida Carpenters Training Program provides one of the top carpenter and millwright apprenticeship and journeyman upgrade training programs in the nation. From safety and technical skills to communication and leadership skills, our members are trained to be productive, safe, and teamwork-oriented.
Requirements
To apply for admission into our registered apprenticeship program, select the training center closest to you and contact them. Application minimum qualifications include:
- Age — applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old and have a certified birth certificate or state-issued drivers’ license as proof of age
- Education — applicants much provide an official transcript(s) of education achieved
- Military — applicants who are military veterans and wish to receive consideration must submit a DD-214, or any similar documentation used to verify military training and/or experience
- Physical — applicants must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the apprenticeship program, with or without a reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others
